Meet Mel

I wasnβt always active, and when I did start working out, I became overly obsessed with chasing a certain look. I bounced between endless cardio, exhausting HIIT workouts, thinking that if I just pushed harder, Iβd see the progress I wanted. Instead, I felt drained, burnt out, and honestly disconnected from what being healthy was supposed to feel like.
Strength training changed that for me. It shifted my focus from burning myself out to feeling strong, capable, and confident in my body, and for the first time, fitness felt like something I could actually stick with.
That shift is what led me to leave my career as a full-time Registered Nurse and build Melrose Training. As Founder, I work closely with our training team and lead all client consults, kickoff calls, and check-ins, so every woman who trains with us feels extra supported throughout her journey.
