Meet Your Trainer, Mel

From fitness beginner to top-rated trainer in Toronto, I used to think fitness wasn’t for me. Now, I'm here to guide you with a unique approach that's empowering, effective, and enjoyable.

I started my fitness journey as a total beginner in my early 20s and really didn't know how to make my workouts work for me. I felt unsure of what to do to see results, while also burning myself out with endless HIIT classes & treadmill workouts. For years, I thought the way I approached things was “healthy” but it was really unsustainable and overwhelming for me. I found that a lot of what's out there for women when it comes to fitness can be really intense, with a lot of pressure to focus on what you look like rather than how you feel, and I knew there had to be a better way.

Enter: MELROSE Training. I became a Certified Personal Trainer and eventually left my full-time role as a Registered Nurse to launch MELROSE Training share the benefits of strength training and help women find a fulfilling and effective approach to fitness. Whether you’re chasing a stronger core, or just want to make staying fit more fun, my goal is to help you feel great in your body, build strength, and enjoy a happier, healthier life.
